We are now seeking to appoint three Conference Reception Team Leaders within the conference office of Event Essex.

Event Essex promotes and manages residential and non-residential conference business on campus all year round. During the summer months of July, August and September, the residential accommodation is available to conferences and groups of all kinds, ranging from language schools, exhibitions and sports events to business and academic conferences and seminars for 20 to 500 delegates.

The Conference Reception Team Leaders will work within the team and share responsibility for the supervision of Conference Receptionists.  Additional duties will include shift supervision of a small reception team (currently 7), planning and managing the work rota including weekly payroll and till reconciliation.  Experience of working within a service or hospitality industry, staff supervision, adaptability, dealing with multiple administration priorities, performing to high customer care standard and cash handling are essential, along with a thorough knowledge of the university campus including the location of teaching room and facilities.
