The successful candidate will receive a bonus recruitment premium of £20,000, plus the standard relocation expenses, details of the recruitment premium is outlined below.This role is within the department of Medical Oncology the appointed candidate will join an existing team of 6 senior medical staff including Consultants & SAS doctors. On joining the department, you will become part of a well-established, friendly team and will help us continue to drive forward improvements in the service that we provide to our patients. As a senior member of the team, you will become a key part in the delivery of training and supervision to our junior colleagues. Job responsibilitiesManagement and Leadership Responsibilities:All staff in each Division are managerially accountable through their Lead Clinician to the Associate Medical Director, who has overall responsibility for the services within the Division. Consultants are key members of the Division and are accountable and responsible for leading changes to service that will improve the patient experience.
Appointment to this role attracts a one off recruitment premium of £20,000. The recruitment premium will be paid in two instalments, £10,000 in the first month of employment and a further £10,000 on the 1st anniversary of the start date. Should a candidate receive the recruitment premium and leave within 5 years of joining the Trust, there will be a requirement to pay back all or part of the payments depending on time served.For clarity on the repayment values, the day prior to the anniversary of start date will be the end of each year period, with the anniversary itself being the start of the new year period as defined below:0-1 Year Initial £10,000 Y1 instalment pay back1-2 Years £15,0002-3 years £10,0003-4 Years £5,0004-5 Years £2,500Further details can be found on the attached job descriptionPerson Specification
