Applications are invited for the newly created post of Consultant Orthopaedic Oncology Surgeon, based at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, part of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Windmill Road, Headington, Oxford OX3 7HE.We are seeking a new full time (10 PA) consultant to join our existing enthusiastic and experienced team of Orthopaedic oncology surgeons.The Oxford Sarcoma Service is involved in many innovative initiatives to enhance the provision of surgery for both bone and soft tissue sarcoma whilst continuing to work closely with academic colleagues to build the evidence base for surgical procedures. We’re looking for someone who’s a team player and has relevant experience in both the management of sarcoma, including experience in using multidisciplinary team working and in undertaking complex reconstructive surgery to the hip, pelvis, knee and other site-specific areas as required.This is an excellent opportunity to join a first-class team in an active and progressive university hospital environment.
