Our client specializes in fixed offshore structures for the offshore energy market. They provide consultancy and engineering solutions through an international team of experts across various engineering disciplines.Your Role as a Consultant:
As a Consultant for Wind Turbine Generator, you’ll leverage your technical expertise and leadership to deliver innovative solutions for clients. Working closely with the Head of Product Line, you’ll drive project success and develop competitive engineering solutions that meet strategic goals.Your Responsibilities:

• Initiate, maintain, and grow client relationships by providing technical consultancy and tailored solutions.
• Support sales teams with your technical expertise on current and future opportunities.
• Develop new product/market ranges based on insights from market research, customers, and suppliers.
• Actively coach and provide technical expertise to engineering project teams during concept, basic, and detail design phases for WTG Foundations (monopiles, jackets, gravity base foundations, and transition pieces).
• Keep technical knowledge up to date, identify knowledge gaps, and share best practices across teams.
• Ensure delivery of economical, competitive, and high-quality engineering solutions that align with client needs.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, including the WTG market.
• Significant expertise in WTG design, fabrication, and installation.
• Proficiency in English (Dutch is a strong advantage).
• Strong problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and results orientation.
• Proven ability to coach teams and focus on delivering quality outcomes.
• Structural engineering for offshore wind: monopiles, jackets, topsides.
• Expertise in WTG load iterations and analysis.
• Detailed calculations for connections: bolted, welded, grout, and vortex-induced vibrations.
• Proficiency with engineering tools such as SACS, Ansys, and familiarity with Femap, Usfos, Grlweap.
• Knowledge of turbine modeling software (e.g., Bladed).
