The opportunity
UAL Online is an exciting new division which has been established to enable access to University of Arts’ world learning creative education to new audiences around the globe. We plan to launch with a suite of new postgraduate degree courses starting from the 2024/25 academic year.
The post holder will become a member of the UAL Online production team within our globally renowned university. Working closely with academics, Learning Designers, Visual Designers and Media Producers and Project Managers you will co-produce innovative, accessible learning content across art, design, culture and creative industries subject areas.
This role will work with Moodle, the UAL Online Virtual Learning Environment, to upload, arrange and build learning content. This includes configuring activities and content types to designs developed by our Learning Designers and academics; and setting up associated platforms such as Miro, Workflow (or portfolio platform based on Mahara) and others. The role will also involve supporting academics during teaching.
The Content Developer will join an ambitious and growing team. They will contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of practices and processes within the larger design and production workflow. They will bring best practice in the production of digital learning materials and use of teaching and learning platforms to this pivotal role.
