Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Contract Manager Component MRO (f/m) to join our Component MRO Contracts department department based in Marignane, France.

This department is part of the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul organization within Support & Services.

Our transversal team (Airbus Helicopters Marignane /Airbus Helicopters Donauwörth) of 12 is in charge of a large portfolio of Component MRO contracts (civil/military) on the full helicopter range.

You will take the lead on a dedicated contract portfolio, ensuring customer satisfaction and financial profitability. You will lead and cross collaborate on specific projects such as lessors/lessee activities, renewal strategies, cost monitoring, etc…

Your main interfaces will be our Front Office (Sales Manager, Customer Support Manager and Customer Logistic Manager) from the mother company and all customer centres, as well as various stakeholders in the Support & Services organization (Technical Office, Offer teams, PSO, etc.)

Your challenges:

Contract operations

  • Ensure contract readiness
  • Monitor quality and performance of the business through KPI, and define/supervise recovery action plans if needed
  • Liaise with all stakeholders (Sales Manager, Logistics, Customer Centers, Network, Repair Administration, Finance…) to ensure contractual performance,
  • Organize contract kick off meetings and contract reviews,
  • Prepare and implement contractual changes: amendments, change of scope, renewal…,
  • Upon request, support the bid / sales manager with contractual negotiation.

Contract profitability

  • Manage contract financial commitments: support invoicing, monitor margin,
  • Challenge & monitor costs (including risks & opportunities), propose evolution to the commercial policy,
  • Decide on complex commercial arbitration and commercial gestures; contribute to the preparation and follow-up of the operational plan.

Your profile:

  • Proven experience in Support & Services, Offers, Sales, or Program management
  • Experience in Contract Management is a plus
  • MRO business understanding
  • Customer oriented
  • Good Financial skills
  • Rigorous and autonomous, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment

Language skills:

  • English: negotiation
  • French: advanced

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
