About This Role:As a Specialist, Contract Support, you will play a pivotal role within our procurement team, focusing on the review, evaluation, revision, negotiation, and execution of a broad range of contracts in line with the Global Procurement and Global contract review policies. You will be entrusted with the critical task of maintaining the integrity of our contract repository, ensuring that it reflects ongoing and concluded agreements. You will provide ongoing support to Biogen stakeholders and assist with management of supplier contracts through the contract lifecycle. The value you bring to the team is immeasurable, as you will be ensuring that our procurement processes are streamlined, compliant, and supportive of our strategic goals. Within the business structure, you will act as a liaison between Category Managers, Legal Department and stakeholders, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service and support to Biogen business. You will report to Manager, Contract Support in GBS Global Procurement organization.What You’ll Do:

• Perform independent contract reviews, including all terms and conditions, in accordance with established rules of engagement.
• Identify deviations from standard language and approve or reject contract terms based on existing playbooks and guidelines.
• Propose appropriate contractual setups and counter-terms utilizing prior learnings where applicable.
• Support and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure adherence to contract management policies and procedures.
• Maintain oversight of request lifecycle, execute action points, perform follow-ups, and respond to queries promptly, adhering to defined SLAs.
• Advise stakeholders on company contracting processes, explain contract terms, and make recommendations aligned with company policies.
• Collaborate with internal business stakeholders, Legal Department, and Subject Matter Experts on escalated matters, focusing on quick resolutions.
• Develop internal knowledge resources, corporate tools, playbooks, processes, and guidelines.
• Provide training sessions for internal stakeholders on legal clauses, internal procedures, best practices, and negotiation positions.
• Route reviewed contracts for signatures and upload signed contracts to the company’s contract repository system.

• Master’s Degree in Law.
• At least 2 years post-graduation experience as a lawyer with exposure to international contracts under multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven work experience as a procurement contract specialist in the Biotech industry or a related industry.
• Experience with Contract Management workflow and systems.
• Experience independently drafting contracts, managing contract reviews, and negotiating contract terms and conditions.
• Excellent written, comprehension, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build effective relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask in an agile and fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate good business judgment.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with corporate procurement processes and policies.
• Experience in conducting contract training sessions.
• Ability to develop and refine contract management tools and resources.

• This role is in hybrid work model.
• Please note that this role requires a candidate to be a holder of work permit & residency in Poland.
