This requires to bring current Forecasting to a next level.As a Controlling Planning & Forecasting Specialist (m/f/d) you will report to in the Integrated Controlling Services (ICS) Director based in Blieskastel or Obernai for a permanent contract.As Controlling Planning & Forecasting Specialist (m/f/d), you support this transformation of the Controlling Department and contribute to reach our ambition by running the yearly Integrated Financel Planning (IFP) target setting and monthly Integrated Financial Forecasting (IFF) simulations and, to do so, by developing the appropriate tools and methods, and proceeding to à-posteriori analysis to continuously improve them.Your missionReporting to the Integrated Controlling Services (ICS) Director, your main missions are the following:

• Planning & Forecasting processes definition and coordination:

• Contribute in defining the process architecture, timelines and RACIs of monthly P&L forecast process & collaboration model (Making IFF Systematic and Shared)
• Coordinate its execution ensuring that the required deliverables are provided on time by the defined contributors
• Planning & Forecasting methods & tools development:

• Identify relevant “machine-based” formula to simulate forecasts, applying data science methodologies
• Develop the simulation tools (mostly in SAP SaC), with also all necessary views to check, understand and communicate the result
• Develop also workflow tools to gather from Controllers the necessary inputs to the simulations
• Planning & Forecasting calculation:

• Contribute to run the IFP target setting (once a year) and run IFF forecast simulations (monthly)
• Proceed to quality checks (plausibility, consistency) and recommend first adjustments
• Support the reviews with Controlling leaders and then with head of Controlling & CFO
• A-posteriori analysis for continuous improvement (in sample-tests):

• Proceed to à-posteriori backward looking analysis and in sample tests, comparing what finally happened vs. what we forecasted month after month
• Consequently, identify and propose methods continuous improvements to increase our forecast accuracy and make IFF always more Steering relevant

Your profile

• Bachelor or Master´s degree or equivalent academic qualification
• At least 5 years of experience in different areas of Controlling in an international environment
• Solid analytical skills, ideally completed with a data science knowledge
• At ease with Profit & Loss statement (P&L) and cost drivers
• Knowing perfectly Excel, and ideally SAP SaC. A real IT affinity is necessary
• You are interested and motivated to learn
• Your English language skills are fluent; French or German language would be a plus
• You are customer orientated, able to work in a transversal mode with successful collaboration and good in communication
• You show ability to react and adapt and can cope with time-boxed sprints with deadlines to respect
