• M&A

• Private Equity / Venture Capital

• Capital markets listings / IPOs

• Public company takeovers

• JV’s

• Group restructurings

• Corporate advisory matters

This is a great opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to join an expanding Corporate team based in Oxfordshire.The ideal candidate will be well organised with a keen eye for detail, proactive and, most importantly, a team player.This role would ideally suit an experienced associate with 2 years’ plus PQE experience who is looking to grow their career at a leading independent law firm where they will be supported and encouraged to play a leading role in advising large corporate clients (often international organisations), ambitious investee companies and high net worth individuals on M&A, early stage investments, reorganisations, shareholder arrangements, option schemes and other day-to-day corporate law matters.Skills / Experience RequiredYou will have 2+ PQE and relevant corporate law experience gained with a recognised regional or London commercial firm.A proven track record or keen interest in business development and client relationship management is highly desirable as is a commercial approach.Personal qualities we seek include:

The work of the team is high-quality and diverse and covers a broad range of corporate transactional and advisory work, including:

• Private M&A (both buy side and sell side)
• Private equity (principally management advisory and portfolio work)
• High growth companies / shareholders agreements and articles / equity fundraising
• Corporate rationalisations / reorganisations
• General corporate advisory
• Partnership law
• Inward investment and cross border

You will be organised in your approach to managing conflicting deadlines and be able to work within a collegiate team environment.This is an exciting new opportunity for a career minded solicitor to join an expanding corporate department.The successful candidate might have some experience in areas including:

• Private Equity, Purchase and Sale of businesses, Mergers, Acquisitions, Joint Venture agreements, Shareholder Agreements, Terms of Business etc.
