Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and execute regulatory submissions for plant protection products across Belgium and Luxembourg, ensuring full compliance with EU Regulation 1107/2009 and local regulatory frameworks.
* Prepare and manage high-quality national submission dossiers, coordinating technical data on physico-chemical properties, toxicology, environmental fate, and ecotoxicology.
* Lead communications with national regulatory authorities and stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships to streamline approval processes.
* Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements, including national variations in Belgium and Luxembourg, providing strategic insights to internal teams.
* Ensure the accurate preparation of regulatory texts for MSDS, labels, and related documentation, contributing to product stewardship and compliance.
* Represent the company at industry forums and working groups, such as CropLife and IBMA, advocating for best practices and regulatory advancements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and external consultants, to align product registrations with broader business strategies.
Key Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in agriculture, biology, chemistry, or a related scientific field.
* Proven expertise in regulatory affairs with 3-4 years of experience in the plant protection or agrochemical sector.
* In-depth understanding of EU Regulation 1107/2009, national regulatory frameworks, and the roles of local authorities in Belgium and Luxembourg.
* Technical proficiency in compiling and managing data for regulatory dossiers, including toxicological, environmental, and efficacy studies.
* Strong analytical and project management skills to oversee complex regulatory processes.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with authorities, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Fluency in English and a working knowledge of Dutch or French is highly desirable.
