Country Regulatory Specialist

Be the Regulatory Expert Behind a National Portfolio:

Conventionals and BioSolutions

Location: The Netherlands -Hybrid – Work From Home

Ready to take ownership of regulatory affairs for an entire country – while still feeling fully supported and connected to a broader team?

This is a rare opportunity to lead all regulatory activities in the Netherlands for a crop protection company that’s growing fast, investing heavily in innovation, and redefining its role in sustainable agriculture.

You’ll be the expert voice for Dutch regulations, working cross-functionally with commercial, technical, and international regulatory colleagues. It’s a highly visible, standalone role locally – but you won’t be on an island. The company’s regulatory model is collaborative, with strong structures in place and an experienced team across the Central Zone.

What makes this role stand out is the breadth of exposure, the balance of autonomy and support, and the genuine innovation behind the portfolio. You’ll work on both conventional and biological crop protection products – including low-residue and IPM-compatible solutions – and shape registration strategy in a space that truly values your voice.

Key responsibilities:

* Take full ownership of regulatory activities for the Netherlands, including dossier submission, authority engagement, and lifecycle management.
* Work closely with cross-functional partners to align regulatory strategy with product development and commercial needs.
* Represent the company in key national industry associations and working groups.
* Monitor Dutch and EU regulatory developments, providing timely and practical guidance internally.
* Contribute to label and SDS development and ensure regulatory documentation remains current and compliant.

Who this would suit:

* A regulatory affairs professional with 2-4 years of experience in crop protection or agri-inputs.
* Someone who understands both the technical side of dossiers and the practical dynamics of working with national authorities.
* A self-starter who enjoys both responsibility and collaboration.
* Familiarity with the Dutch Ctgb processes is highly desirable; EU 1107/2009 experience is a must.
* Ideally based in or near the Netherlands, with fluent English. Dutch language skills are a plus but not essential.

Why this is a great opportunity:

* You’ll join a business with a truly international footprint but a strong European core – offering both stability and growth potential.
* You’ll be part of a close-knit regulatory team that shares ideas, solves problems together, and celebrates progress.
* The company is well-funded, mid-sized, and agile – a place where your contributions will be seen, heard, and valued.
* Flexible hybrid working, real autonomy, and excellent long-term career prospects are all on offer.

If you’re looking to step up into a more visible, impactful regulatory role – while staying hands-on and close to the science – this could be the right move.
