We have recently been instructed by a prestigious London-based hedge fund that’s currently looking to hire an analyst to focus on financials.Our client is a European-focused hedge fund is renowned for its deep expertise in the financials sector and operates a fundamentally driven, high-conviction strategy across both equity and credit. Following a strong period of performance and growth, the firm is now looking to strengthen its investment team with the addition of a new Analyst.This is a compelling opportunity to join a high-performing, dynamic environment at a firm that places real value on deep research and sector insight.The RoleThe successful candidate will support the investment team in conducting in-depth research and analysis on corporate credit within the financials sector – with a primary focus on Europe. This role suits someone intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and eager to take ownership of investment ideas over time.Key Responsibilities:Performing bottom-up analysis of European financial institutionsBuilding financial models and valuation frameworksMonitoring macro, regulatory, and company-specific developmentsAssisting in the identification of credit and equity investment opportunitiesSupporting portfolio managers with trade execution and reportingCandidate Profile:2-4 Years credit research experience, either on the buyside or the sell side.Prior experience in analysing corporate credit within the European financials sector.Highly numerate with excellent Excel/modelling skillsStrong academic track record in finance, economics, or a related fieldTo apply: Please send your CV to
