NR REF.: 1194335We are currently seeking a seasoned Credit Management Leader to take ownership of credit governance across our European operations.
Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of credit assessment protocols tailored to diverse European markets.
• Analyze financial statements, payment patterns, and industry trends to recommend optimal engagement terms.
• Monitor external economic indicators and industry-specific trends to anticipate potential credit risks.
• Supervise and mentor a team of credit professionals.
• Work closely with commercial, finance, and operational teams to align credit practices with business objectives.
• Manage escalated cases and coordinate with external agencies when necessary.
• Drive initiatives to streamline credit-related workflows and enhance data accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and regional regulatory standards, including data protection laws.
• Support system enhancements and contribute to testing and rollout of credit-related tools.
• Deliver regular insights and reports on credit portfolio health, risk exposure, and operational metrics.
• Use analytics to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decisions at the leadership level.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in credit management, with a strong understanding of European financial environments.
• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and complex customer portfolios.
• Deep understanding of regional financial regulations and customer dynamics.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, credit scoring tools, and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with international compliance standards and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions.
• Academic background in Finance, Economics, or Business
