Job DescriptionCulinary Trend Analyst InternStart date: Sept 2025Duration: 5 to 6 monthsPlatform/Project: Culinary Insights and Excellence (R&D)Location: Nijmegen/AmsterdamCulinary Insights and ExcellenceWe are looking for a trend analyst Intern with a passion for food and consumer trends to support our data-driven projects and turn data into culinary inspiration.You will be part of an international small team with the ambition to ignite, explore and drive strategic data-driven food innovations and embed culinary excellence in Kraft-Heinz culture. Expect to be part of the team from day one.The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the desire to extract meaningful insights from raw data. A data-driven mindset, alongside a basic understanding of statistical analysis and consumer research, is essential. Experience with social listening is a plus; interest in food innovations and culture is a must.What the candidate can expect: Strong learning experience on trend analysis, social listening, data-driven story-telling, dashboard development and innovations in general with many practical deliverables which will be used directly by the organization.Assignments and key activities:

  • Support trend dashboard implementation and optimizations
  • Conduct ad-hoc trend analysis leveraging Kraft-Heinz proprietary tools & resources
  • Uncover meaningful culinary trends and insights and turn data analysis outcomes into relevant stimuli material for online ideation session
  • Conduct social listening analysis via our external supplier social listening platform
  • Participate & contribute into meetings related to culinary trend resources and tools
  • Build a repeatable model about culinary trend analysis including best practices, methods, tools and templates

Specific Team Requirements:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s student in Business Analytics, Data Science, or consumer/marketing research
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
  • Experience with trend analysis or social listening is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with solid problem-solving abilities.
  • At ease with working with remote teams
  • Primary location: Nijmegen

Basic Requirements for all:

  • You should have strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal (Dutch is not a requirement but other languages are a plus)
  • You are available full-time for 5-6 months in the applicable period
  • You are enrolled at a university for at least 50% study load for the duration of the internship.
  • NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship, you are studying in the Netherlands or have relevant student work visa)
