The Student Records and Curriculum Management team, within the Directorate of Academic and Student Administration, is recruiting for a Curriculum and Student Information Adviser to provide comprehensive specialist administrative support for students from enrolment through to final award.
You will be:
-
delivering specialist information, advice and guidance services to staff and students on matters relating to student information and linked processes and initiatives from enrolment through to final award
-
maintaining curriculum information within the student records system and providing guidance and training to staff across the University relating to curriculum change processes
-
providing training and guidance to staff and students in the use of the student records system
-
supporting examination committee processes, for example, Chairs and Secretaries of Examination Committees; ensuring that complex University regulations and protocols are adhered to at all times
-
providing an effective enquiry response, managing all relevant telephone, email, face-to-face and postal enquiries relating to curriculum and student information from students, staff, stakeholders and externals.
You should have:
-
a customer focused approach to your work
-
experience of using complex administrative computer systems
-
experience of training
-
an understanding of the importance of data quality and integrity
-
the ability to work without close supervision and communicate with staff at all levels
-
excellent administrative and organisational skills.
The team has a hybrid working arrangement with a mixture of on campus and home working.
