In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, verifying, organizing, and maintaining all documentation associated with freight operations. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies is a key aspect of the position. You will closely coordinate with internal teams, such as logistics, operations, and finance, as well as external stakeholders, to facilitate smooth document flow throughout the freight transportation process.

Managing the document flow and maintaining an organized filing system, both physically and electronically, are crucial components of the role. Regular audits and quality checks on freight documents will be conducted to ensure accuracy and adherence to established standards. Any discrepancies or issues related to documentation will be addressed promptly, working collaboratively with relevant parties for efficient resolution.

Staying abreast of changes in documentation requirements, regulations, and procedures in the freight and logistics industry is essential. Additionally, providing support during audits, inspections, or inquiries by ensuring all relevant documentation is readily available and compliant is part of the role.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration/Economics/Logistics or freight forwarding.
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience within the Freight Forwarding industry.
  • International working experience preferred.


The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in using document management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools for organizing and managing documentation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and processing documentation are critical. Knowledge of international shipping documentation, customs procedures, and regulatory requirements is required.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities are a must, along with effective communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment is essential. Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve document-related issues efficiently are valued, along with adherence to confidentiality and compliance standards regarding sensitive information.
