Overview:Bio-Rad’s Global Quality Management Systems team seeks a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our group as a Data Scientist. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Global Quality Management Systems (QMS) and support the Global Quality, Regulatory, and Clinical Affairs (RAQA) Senior Leadership Team to innovate, build, and sustain well-managed data solutions and capabilities for the Bio-Rad global QMS. The Data Scientist will be the hands-on leader and subject matter expert in the Data Analytics discipline within the RAQA organization.How You’ll Make an Impact

• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can improve QMS processes, product quality, and regulatory compliance
• Develop and implement tools, statistical models, and algorithms · Translate business needs to develop reports and dashboards for data insights and visualization
• Develop solutions for data collection and reporting across a global network to include transferring data into a new format for better analysis/user experience
• Develop training to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers · Develop data governance structure and stewardship for global QMS metrics
• Prepare various QMS metrics reports (analytics and insights) for continuous reporting periods (monthly, quarterly, annual) for leadership and business reviews (e.g., management reviews, segment/regional business reviews, etc.)
• Support data related inquiries to support RAQA teams
• Partner with internal resources/teams to effectively deploy tools and methods such as AI and GenAI tools for automation, insight discovery and predictive analytics for QMS data

What you bring

• Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a similar field
• Fluency with data management tools and analytical methods
• Exceptional ability to effectively communicate complex data in a simple, actionable manner
• Foundational AI-related skills to effectively integrate AI and GenAI tools and support AI projects
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills · Ability to work objectively to impartially gather, analyze, and interpret information without bias
• Ability to comfortably work both independently and collaboratively with internal business/technical team members from around the world
• Experience within IVD, medical device, or similarly regulated industry is a plus
• Ability to travel as needed (infrequently)
