- Purpose: Translate and analyze business requirements, design & update data models with both functional and technical intake within the Data Warehouse project as a primary focus.
Responsibilities
- Align features with projects, teams, and applications.
- Create a functional analysis that enables the development team to implement user stories.
- Analyze existing systems and highlight areas for improvement.
- Create procedures and packages to meet the ETL requirements, including testing.
- Conduct performance analysis to optimize the impact on operational systems.
- Contribute to master data management projects and provide feedback on data flows.
- Engage in the Data Team for sharing knowledge & work in close collaboration with the architects.
Requirements:Hard Skills
- Higher education degree with at least 5 years of experience in business and/or functional analysis and as an ETL Developer.
- Expertise in collecting, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Experience working in large and complex projects with many stakeholders.
- Profound knowledge of T-SQL scripting & querying.
- Knowledge of the MS SQL stack (DB – SSIS – SSRS) on 2019 and 2022 releases, Standard Edition.
- Knowledge of Azure and Databricks.
- Experience in implementing solutions with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) & its ETL capabilities.
- Strong experience in Data warehousing (DataVault, …)
- Knowledgeable about data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques.
- Big data (Hadoop, …), pipeline orchestration, log collection & distribution tools are a plus.
- Finance & Risk knowledge (mainly in reporting area, ex Solvency II, BGAAP, IFRS4/9/17).
- Experience in Agile or SCRUM practices is a plus.
- Fluent in Dutch/English or French/English.
