Data AnalystThe opportunityWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst/Engineer to join our growing team focused on Environmental, Governance & Sustainability (EGS) projects. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform to design and deploy end-to-end data solutions that unlock valuable insights for our EGS initiatives.As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.Your key responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Design and implement data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric components, including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Dataflows.
• Develop and maintain data transformations and cleansing processes to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Build and manage semantic models for efficient data exploration and analysis.
• Create reports and dashboards using Power BI to visualize data and communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate data with other analytical tools and models.
• Maintain and document data solutions to ensure ongoing usability and scalability.
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, and EGS data management best practices.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
• Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform services (Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Dataflows, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and data quality principles
• Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI preferred)
• Experience building end-to-end data solutions

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience with Microsoft Sustainability Solutions and/or MS industry solutions for EGS
• Experience in international environments
