EMEA Data Centre Operations (DCOPS) Organization has recently established a Strategic Execution Office to support the implementation of the organisation’s business plans.
The Regional Business Program Manager is a recently created role within the Strategic Execution Office that will help drive and deliver the strategic change agenda for DCOPS. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Strategy and the DCOPS Leadership Team to translate the business strategy into a prioritised portfolio roadmap by taking a strategic, commercial and customer centric view. They will also be responsible for co-ordinating delivery, working closely with delivery teams within and without DCOPS to realise the committed business benefits.
The Regional Business Program Manager will develop consistent, repeatable processes to align change projects to our business strategy, create visibility on progress and support the Leadership team and delivery units to manage project capacity across the organisation, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their support and buy-in.

Responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
Work with Director of Strategy and the EMEA DCOPs Leadership Team to enhance and refine our portfolio management process so that it is aligned to and will deliver the business strategy and that will build a culture and competence around change.
Develop processes to encourage collaboration and visibility of decisions regarding project prioritisation and strategic alignment
Develop and manage the Portfolio Roadmap (Backlog, Work In Progress, Delivered)
Monitor progress and refresh the portfolio on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis
Ensure appropriate tracking and co-ordination activities are in place to keep project progress visible – reporting regularly to Leadership team and the wider organisation. This to include development of key metrics to reflect the impact of the changes implemented.
Identification and management of intersections and dependency across the portfolio to ensure ‘joined-up’ portfolio management and hence strategy execution
Ensure that DCOPS leverages Microsoft group and other appropriate sources to drive both new customer offers and new ways of working
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Significant experience as a Senior Programme Manager/Senior Product Manager/Senior Business Change within an enterprise scale environment
Excellent communications skills, including proven experience of executive level briefings and experience of influencing decisions at a senior level
Demonstrated ability as an effective stakeholder manager, mentor and coach.
Demonstrated ability to challenge and balance multiple priorities at enterprise scale
Passion for leveraging processes, approaches and technology to drive significant business value
Background Check Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Desirable Experience:
Prior experience in working with both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies
Experience in Operations Management
Data Centre Experience
Experience in scale up organisations balancing stability and growth
