EG Specialty Care also offers very specialized prescription medicines – mainly to hospitals and psychiatric institutions. We are also working on expanding the product line with, among others, biosimilars. Then you are the data engineer we are looking for! Creating and implementing data solutions is your responsibility.ResponsibilitiesIn order to realize the above, you will

• work on the end-to-end pipeline: data exploration, data ingestion, processing, analytics and visualization. You design, build, deploy, test and maintain analytics pipelines. Developing the necessary code to get and process the data is part of this.
• take full ownership of the data solutions you implement autonomously.
• work closely together with colleagues from all other departments within EG: Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, … You translate their business needs into technical solutions and front-end tools they can use.
• transform data into insightful and visually attractive reports and dashboards
• strive continuously to reduce manual or repetitive efforts through data innovation & automation
• safeguard data quality

Required profile

• Master in computer science, informatics or equivalent by experience
• Hands-on experience with maintenance of SQL-servers, datawarehousing on cloud platforms like Azure and Snowflake
• Confident in modelling (star schema) complex data structures & adapting cloud architecture towards the needs of the future
• Knowledge of common BI & cloud tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure DevOps, PowerBI, etc.
• You write efficient sql and are capable of incorporating this into and existing ELT solution
• Capable of ingesting data in multiple formats: databases, API’s, Sharepoint, json & manual files (csv/Excel)
• Experience in combining multiple divided systems to create 1 source of truth for the entire organization
• Knowledgeable on the ins and outs of master data systems
• You are able to efficiently structure data flows such that multiple solutions (reporting, exports, CRM systems, …) have their required data on time
• Automated testing of incoming data & master data quality has no secrets for you
• Databricks and airflow are nice to haves
• Experience with handling data from SAP or MS Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
• You are able to set priorities depending on business value
• You have ideas and can turn them into something real. You have the attitude to make things happen.
• You’re open-minded, collaborative, team player, ready to adapt to the changing needs. You’re curious about new techniques and tools, and eager to always keep learning.
• You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
