POSITION OVERVIEW

Mangabey is looking for a Data Engineer Associate to join our data engineering team as part of a 6-month internship program. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data engineering while working on exciting projects in the healthcare industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with senior data engineers to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
• Assist in building and maintaining data storage solutions using database systems like SQL and NoSQL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity and quality
• Participate in data modeling and optimization activities to support data analysis and reporting
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues
• Contribute to the documentation of data engineering processes and systems
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field*
• Strong programming skills ; Python is a must-have
• Basic understanding of database systems and data modeling concepts
• Knowledge of specific libraries or skills is a plus
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and data engineering practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

*The internship duration is 6 months. Must provide an internship agreement from the university.
