Our partner is a well-known brand in the aviation industry. The team in Budapest – which was founded 2 years ago – is rapidly growing, hence we are seeking our next colleagues to join as Data Engineer.As a Data Engineer within our team, your focus will be to build high quality applications that are maintainable, performant, and secure.You will work closely with both the business and other functions within Data team (Data Analyst, Data Scientist) to create data-driven solutions that contribute to the optimisation of our HR processes and broader business goals.
You are the ideal candidate if you have:Fluency in English language, both spoken & written.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
Cloud engineering experience, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP) OR Azure
Knowledge about data architecture: you are aware of the concept of data warehouse, data lake
experience with both SQL and no-SQL databases such as Google BigQuery, PostgreSQL and MongoDB;
you know integration patterns such as SOA, request/reply (RESTful API’s) and event driven architecture (JMS/Kafka);
you know cloud technologies and DevOps (Git, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker)
in-depth knowledge and experience in the agile way of working (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban);
possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and are capable of conveying data insights clearly to both business stakeholders and technical teams.
