The Data, Evaluation and Systems Manager (Future Students) will work across the Recruitment, Widening Participation (WP) and Admissions teams to develop and deliver policies and processes that deliver timely and impactful analysis to enable evidence-based decision making and ensure the strategic objectives of the teams are met. They will embed a data driven approach across the teams, and improve the collection, quality and usability of prospect, applicant and enquirer data. They will lead on the implementation of the RVC’s data strategy for our Access and Participation Plan (APP) and will be responsible for collaborating with colleagues to ensure the appropriate monitoring, evaluation and data analysis required to support and deliver it. The post holder will also have responsibility for data and systems connected to the applicant journey and ensuring they are fit for both internal and external purposes. 

The successful candidate will have a track record in working with large and complex data sets and developing/implementing processes or systems to ensure the collation and maintenance of robust data. They will have experience of analysing and evaluating data to both influence and inform decision making and to report on impact and will be experienced in using data analysis and visualisation tools to achieve this. The post holder will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, will be able to work on and deliver multiple projects simultaneously and will be experienced in tailoring their outputs to a variety of audiences. Sector experience isn’t essential, but a proactive, willingness to learn is key.
