The tribe contains 4 area’s:Data PlatformAnalytics PlatformGovernance PlatformOnboarding and SupportFor about 40 squads are divided over these areas. In many of the teams we are working on software engineering. We need your help to design, build and run ground-breaking solutions that are as valuable to our 7 million customers.You will be working in the Data Governance Area for Data lineage team. We provide solution on Data Lineage and which is a crucial component of Metadata management, which also entails the topics Data Definition and Data Requirements. We are responsible for making our producers and consumers are complaint for Data lineage.You will be responsible forWe are looking for experienced Data lineage professionals in Rabobank Tribe Global D&A Platform with the ability to build high-quality solutions that fit the needs of our stakeholders. As a Data Governance Platform engineer, you play a crucial role in crafting and delivering those solutions, in line with organisational and architectural standards.ExperienceAbove all we are looking for new colleagues with an insatiable curiosity in data, technology and self-development on a medior/senior level. We don’t look for the sheep with the 5 legs. We believe that if you are a good engineer language doesn’t matter although we do understand everyone has preferences. There is absolutely no need to thick all of below mentioned boxes, but it gives you a good understanding on which technology/frameworks/languages we use:Must-Haves:Experience:Minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, data governanceUnderstanding of data lineage and experience in implementing data lineage solutions.Technical Skills:Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.Experience with data integration tools and platforms (e.g., Apache Airflow).Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.Experience in building and automating code pipelines using Azure DevOpsGood-to-Haves:Additional Experience:Experience with Open LineageExperience with any data lineage tooling like Data Hub, Open Metadata, Solidatus, Purview or Informatica EDC.Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in data lineage.Azure Certifications: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AdministratorCompetencesStrong communication skillsOpen communicationProactively participate in a multidisciplinary DevOps team where you challenge and debate the decisions of your team members on the presented solutions;Working togetherProviding feedbackWilling to develop further in AzureStrong information/data analysis skillsA customer focused mind-set and having a structured way of working are key talents that a business analyst embodies.Quick learnerAre eager to know more about banking processes, our stakeholders, and their needs;Proactively participate in reflection moments to improve our collaboration, processes, value delivery and goals, on both product and team level.Show ownership and autonomy with a proactive attitude;Enthusiasm and appreciation of achievements and result-driven behaviour;Transparency and courage to have in-depth conversations;Continuously improving to grow as a team and individual.You and the job application processAny questions about working at Rabobank and the process?
