Data Migration Lead

We are looking for a Data Migration Lead ! You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris.

Leap is one of the major transformation programs currently at Pernod Ricard. It is focused on designing and build our future proof ERP system, enabling harmonization of all transactional processes across the Group.

We seek a Data Migration Lead to lead seamless transitions of data across systems. The ideal candidate will design, execute, and manage data migration strategies, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance. Expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools, data mapping, and migration frameworks is essential. Proficiency in database systems, scripting languages, and cloud platforms is required. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills are critical for collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role demands meticulous attention to detail and the ability to meet project timelines in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Functional knowledge in Finance, Sales or Operations are a plus.

Your key missions

• Data Assessment & Analysis: Evaluate existing data structures, quality, and compatibility with target systems.
• Migration Planning: Develop detailed migration plans, including timelines, methodologies, and resource allocation.
• Data cleansing : In collaboration with the MDM team, develop a comprehensive data cleansing & enhancement strategy
• Data Mapping: Create mappings between source and target systems to ensure data consistency and relevance.
• ETL Development: Design and execute ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data effectively.
• Data Validation & Testing: Perform rigorous testing to verify data accuracy, integrity, and completeness post-migration.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve data discrepancies or migration-related issues swiftly.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of migration processes, configurations, and outcomes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Tech, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure alignment and success of migration projects
