The role will include monitoring the systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that the data is available and accessible to those who need it. Data Operation Experts work closely with Data System Specialists and Data Software Engineers to ensure that the infrastructure is running smoothly and that any issues are addressed promptly.Main Responsibilities

• Monitor data infrastructure to ensure smooth operation.
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Ensure data availability and accessibility for users.
• Manage backups and disaster recovery processes.
• Collaborate with Data Software Engineers and Data System Specialists to resolve issues and improve infrastructure performance.
• Follow agile methodology and the best practices of the digital engineering team.

About Your Experience and Skills

• Education

• University or college degree with specialization in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Certifications in database management or cloud computing are a plus.
• Experience

• 0-2 years of production support of SQL based data platforms or similar field.
• Retail IT domain background is a plus.
• Professional and Technical Competencies

• Proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language) for querying databases, performing data manipulation tasks, and optimizing database performance.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with ETL tools and processes.
• Experience in AWS/Azure PaaS preferred.
• Scriptwriting using R, Python, PIG, HIVE, SQL, etc.
• Read, interpret, write, modify, and execute simple scripts (e.g., PERL, VBS) on Windows system.
• Experience in working with agile methodology and following the best practices of the digital engineering team.
• Read, interpret, write, modify, and execute simple scripts (e.g., PERL, VBS) on Windows system.
• Practical experience generating process documentation and reports.
• Professional usage of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.
