Data Quality Lead

Overview:

The Data Quality Lead will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of data governance policies, procedures and standards to ensure high level data quality.

This role involves providing clear guidance and support to data domain owners / data stewards to meeting their Data Quality standards. He/she will facilitate communication and training on data governance policies and procedures, maintaining documentation related to data quality policies and procedures.

He/she is also accountable for monitoring and reporting on data governance metrics and key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the availability and quality of data for AI and analytics use cases
• Define and implement Data Quality standards across the company
• Support the different data domains on their data quality initiatives by training them to the data quality methodology and informing them about the process to be followed.
• Communicate and raise awareness on data quality issues so that every stakeholder understands the importance of data quality, recognizes data quality issues and is equipped to address them effectively.
• Assist the Data Governance team in designing workflow for the creation, modification, and deletion of critical referential data to maintain data quality standards.
• Select the appropriate tools for assessing and improving data quality
• Support the implementation of the data catalog in collaboration with the data catalog team by defining data objects and identifying their sources.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or business education with a focus in data management or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in data management, with a focus on data quality aspects
• In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, and data classification.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships with business stakeholders and external partners.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in French and English
