The Agency aims to foster the contribution of the energy sector to economic development and environmental sustainability.The IEA seeks a Data Visualisation Designer to work within the Energy Technology Policy (ETP) Division of the Directorate of Sustainability, Technology and Outlooks (STO). Her/his responsibility will be to make complex energy technology analysis clear, accessible and impactful through high-quality, data-driven visuals. The selected candidate will design and develop innovative charts, interactive visualisations, and infographics that convey key findings from ETP research and policy recommendations and that will appear in flagship technology reports like , the or the among other publications, as well as in presentations and on IEA’s website, social media channels and other digital platforms. Working closely with ETP analysts, the selected candidate will turn technical data and analysis into visually coherent outputs that highlight trends, support evidence-based insights, and engage diverse audiences. Beyond clarity and accuracy, the selected candidate will also bring an eye for narrative, framing data in ways that tell meaningful stories and help stakeholders understand the implications of ETP’s work. We are looking for someone with strong data literacy and advanced skills in data visualisation and programming. A solid understanding of energy or related technology topics is a plus.
