The main objective of the role is to design and maintain reliable data storage for different use-cases.This role is based in our Budapest office and will work in a hybrid environment.RequirementsWHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Design and maintain databases, increase database performance, and troubleshoot database functionality issues
• Support, monitor and maintain databases (PostgreSQL on AWS RDS) with TBs of data
• Troubleshoot query performance issues related to our applications on large datasets
• Optimize data structure and manage structural changes, migration processes
• Lend support to development teams as necessary during design, development and delivery to ensure solid, scalable, robust solutions
• Accurately assess the risks associated with each solution design
• Support the development of team members in order to use our database resources efficiently

WHAT YOU’ll BRING:

• Strong design and development experience with PostgreSQL 16+
• Experience with database management on AWS (RDS)
• Thorough working knowledge of the design and database development processes and methodologies
• Working knowledge of Terraform
• Strong database setup, configuration, maintenance/support, troubleshooting skills, and experience with different database engines
• Experience in developing and executing a data solution implementation plan
• Fluent English
