• Location: Katowice (hybrid model of work/ 1 day from office/weekly)
• Type of employment: Employment contract
• Project language: English and French

Responsibilities:

• Daily support service including backup routines, database import/export, monitoring and control, database performance tuning, database deployment, SQL script deployment, migration, upgrade
• Identify and assess customer database requirements
• Execute tasks independently based on organizational standards
• Enhance solution effectiveness and review team members’ work
• Lead or participate in customer meetings, aligning project goals
• Organize and prioritize tasks, adapting to workload demands
• Suggest improvements for productivity and customer satisfaction
• Set up and maintain operating systems, middleware, and databases
• Manage routine database operations, including security monitoring

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Excellent skills in Postgres or MySQL database administration
• Good knowledge of: SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase
• Knowledge of other database engines will be an asset
• Good level of French (at least French (B2)
• Initiative, accuracy, and attention to details
• Knowledge of cloud will be an asset
