The Deputy Director for Campus Services and Engagement will be responsible for engaging across the University with services, faculties and Leeds University Union (LUU) to lead the Facilities Directorate contribution to University wide events and programmes. You will lead a group of diverse services of circa 400 in alignment with our Facilities Directorate people and culture plan that sets out our people focussed approach.

With a results-based customer focus you will provide institutional leadership for the design, development and delivery of Campus Services and Engagement, setting a vision, culture and direction for the Service, including leading transformational change initiatives that shift the University towards its vision of efficient and effective Facility, services and engagement.
You will have a people focused approach and the ability to connect and develop relationships with a range of stakeholders and multiple diverse groups.
You will have significant senior level facilities management experience (Facilities Management/Soft FM) and experience of leading and inspiring services, teams and individuals to deliver strategic plans and excellent services. A key element of this role is to be influential both internally and externally, building trust and credibility, shaping and delivering a significant agenda across the Facilities Directorate, often in partnership with faculties and Services across the University. You will also have significant experience of setting, managing and achieving key customer and financial targets.
You will need the ability to connect and develop relationships with a range of stakeholders and multiple diverse groups and lead a diverse workforce of c400 people in alignment with our FD People and Culture plan.
You will report to the Director of Campus Innovation: Campus Services, Experience & Commercial, however, you will work alongside other senior leaders in the Facilities Directorate to collaborate and share best practice.
