You will also have management responsibility for the lawyers and legal officers within the team and will keep under review the needs and resourcing of the service.The Deputy Monitoring Officer will be given the opportunity to assist in ensuring high standards of member conduct are upheld, as well as helping to ensure the Monitoring Officer’s role as the Council’s Data Protection Officer is carried out effectively.This is an exciting opportunity to strengthen your legal knowledge over multiple areas, interacting with Councillors and Officers across the Council during a time of exciting change.
