Design Engineer

Based in Landskrona, Sweden

What you will do

We are looking for a Design Engineer to strengthen our Product Engineering team within R&D, responsible for design-related work within our product projects. You will belong to the dedicated Product Engineering team, consisting of design engineers, product engineers, prototype engineers and project managers. The team is responsible for releasing new products, design changes and product updates.

The design tasks will cover design of cut-, and forming tools, heat exchanger components, plan and execute mechanical verifications, driving design changes and writing technical reports. You will work closely together with your design colleagues to find new solutions to the problems you are facing. The designers are often found by the whiteboard, supporting each other with different design challenges. You will also support with expertise knowledge regarding tools and product design to the Landskrona plant. We use Autodesk Inventor and the PDM system Teamcenter for our drawings.

You will be working in a dynamic environment with several projects ongoing, collaborating cross-functionally within the organization. We have a constantly focus on improving our ways of working and you will be given the opportunity to be part of making the process more efficient. 

Your background

-University degree in Mechanical Engineering
-Experience from production process will help you in this role as we work with close contact to the
Landskrona
production site.
-If you have gained some work experience after your studies, it will be seen as a merit.
-You are fluent in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
