With a total backlog reaching €61 billion*, Webuild is a group guided by the passion for building and the pursuit of excellence, which renewed its commitment to building a sustainable future by applying its know-how to build innovative and valuable works.*Consolidated Financial Results at June 30, 2023As Hydraulic Engineer, you will participate in the preparation of bids and will provide support to our projects, from the company headquarters in Milan and through short/medium assignments on-site.Your activities will include:Reviewing design reports and drawings for our “Design & Build” hydraulic projects,Analyzing hydraulic data and models and identify possible improvements/optimizationsPropose and assess potential innovative design/construction alternativesParticipation in field visits and data collection for hydraulic projectsLiaising with Client’s Engineer and project’s design team in technical discussionsWriting reports and preparing presentations.The ideal candidate should have:a Master in Hydraulic Engineering or Civil Engineering3 to 5 years of professional experience in the fields of hydraulic engineering design and analysis, in particular:Utilizing hydraulic modelling software and conducting steady and transient analysisDimensioning and design of dams, tunnels, steel lining, canals, pipelines and other hydraulic structuresConducting field investigations and providing effective solutions for hydraulic issuesReviewing hydraulic projects (reports and drawings) from conception to completionKnowledge of hydraulic systems and their applications in various industriesPrevious field experience in Hydropower or Dam Projects will be considered a plus.Other:Fluent in spoken and written EnglishWillingness to take business trips and longer stays abroadAbility to adapt to different working conditionsTeamworking and communication skillsProblem solvingWebuild is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
