Development Operations Manager

We are looking to attract an experienced and innovative Development Operations Manager to join the team for a 12-month period as a maternity cover.

You will lead and manage all operational support services to the Alumni Engagement and Development team to drive continuous improvement and maximise engagement and impact across the programme. As a member of the leadership team, you will contribute to the development of the overall departmental strategy.

It is an exciting time to join the team. As we welcomed a new Vice-Chancellor in October 2023, we are looking to grow our activity and income over the next 5-years and beyond.

Our programme of engagement and fundraising is rooted in data and insight. Our Development Services Team provides the expertise and rigour to drive the reach and impact of our work. The role provides an excellent opportunity for the postholder to shape and develop our approach to this by introducing new perspectives and insight to create maximum impact.

You will lead a well-established and excellent team responsible for managing a number of critical activities including the end-to-end process for prospect identification and management, database management, data integrity and training, analysis and reporting and compliance and policy.
