SUMMARY

CSBU is looking for a DevOps to work on cloud products development and CI/CD infrastructure. In Qorvo Infrastructure as Code environment, the mission of the DevOps is to understand Qorvo products and needs to create and maintain the appropriate infrastructure to support internal and external customers. The DevOps needs a good understanding of the software development process to train and review the developer teams on CI best practices and setup. To succeed in this role, a background in system administration, security, cloud applications and software development is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Infrastructure design:

• Design hybrid cloud architecture
• Design deployment automation (including hardware deployment)
• Design data collection platform
• Design security from start

Development:

• Design and develop tools in Python
• Implement compliance and security tools
• Data engineering

Maintenance:

• Develop and improve automation of server management and deployments
• Develop and improve Supervision
• CI/CD infrastructure management (Hybrid Kubernetes clusters)
• Enhance security tools and setup

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
• 2-5+ years relevant work experience
• Education: Master/Engineering Degree
• Experience and expertise server administration
• Experience and expertise in python development
• Deep knowledge of Git and git workflows
• Familiarity with devops tools (terraform, saltstack/ansible)
• Autonomy and ability to learn new tech and tools
• Good communication skills in English
