Director – Climate Governance Initiative – Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Director to head up the Climate Governance Initiative, whose
purpose is to enable effective climate corporate governance on boards. The Initiative is moving
on from initial start-upmode and its new, dedicated Director will play a lead role in this next
phase of development.

The Climate Governance Initiative was established in 2019 by the World Economic Forum and
supports the growth of groups of board directors around the world to form networks, known as
Chapters. Since 2020, the Secretariat for the Climate Governance Initiative has been hosted
within the Centre for Climate Engagement at Hughes Hall, which plays a unique role in bringing
leading academic research to board directors in a format that enables change.

The new Director will lead the Climate Governance Initiative team to build on the growth to
date and further the development of the infrastructure, communications and contact-management
processes. Heading up the Initiative team and, together with the Board, the Director will
ensure continued development of the strategy and will provide an externally facing leadership
role for the Initiative. The Director will liaise with Chapters and the CCE content team to
provide input for thought leadership that is relevant and digestible for board members,
addressing current and emerging high impact topics.
