We are now looking for a highly experienced and influential leader to join us as Director of the Digital Education Service. Do you have a world-leading vision for digital education services in a higher education organisation? Can you lead, manage and support colleagues at all levels to deliver exceptional digital education services and a sharp focus on continued improvement and change in realising our ambitions?
The University of Leeds has an ambitious strategy with key strategic priorities. You will ensure the outputs of the Digital Education Service align to these priorities. Working with the Dean for Online and Digital Education, the Director of Leeds Online, and other key partners, you will have responsibility for developing long term goals and plans to support innovative digitally enabled student education across the whole organisation.
We are looking for a Director who will be build and manage successful relationships with external learning platform providers and online education partners. You will work closely with executive and senior academic and professional services stakeholders, including leads for strategic change initiatives, influencing and negotiating decision making at a university level. You will lead a large team of specialist roles that support innovation, design and learning systems. Suitable candidates will demonstrate significant experience of leading the growth of high-quality online and digital learning pedagogy and innovation in a complex Higher Education setting, including extensive experience of managing the complexities of digital delivery in complex technological or academic environments.
