This is what we call Genki.As the Director Global Indirect Procurement, you will act in a global role with the goal of overseeing and improving the indirect procurement efforts. Each site has a team responsible for doing indirect procurement locally. The Global head of indirect procurement will support the local teams in optimizing the outcome of the indirect procurement efforts and will:The Director is a member of the Global Finance SLT and reports to SVP of Global Finance. This is a hybrid position located at the Hillerød site in Denmark.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain the indirect procurement strategy for FDB. Challenge and agree ambition level for each local indirect procurement team including agreeing and following up on the savings target for each site.
• Owns and drive the indirect procurement global process group which consist of participants from all FDB sites. Develop The indirect procurement global process group to become a community of practice that is a key vehicle for best practice sharing and a key vehicle for implementing the implementing and sustaining the indirect procurement strategy
• Analyse and assess the maturity level of the local indirect procurement functions. Identify and communicate improvement opportunities to the local leads of indirect procurement. Agree and follow up on local improvement plans This includes assessment of resources/competencies needed. Assist the local leads of indirect procurement with identifying potential candidates for indirect procurement positions.
• Ad Hoc support to SVP of global Finance in e.g. Business cases
• Be the owner of the indirect procurement global process group, to do this effectively it is important to be recognized as an influential leader
• Impacts company performance by Ensuring that all sites have ambitious indirect procurement ambitions and savings plan
• Interact with external suppliers in negotiations and as such impact company result
• Drive the local indirect procurement teams in the right direction
• Assess the local indirect procurement teams progress towards the desired end state and advise on actions
• Help local indirect procurement team defining the resources needed and identifying the right candidates
• Identify and share best practices among the sites
• Develops and provides strategy, vision and direction for the FDB within the the field of Indirect Procurement
• Consistently interact with local site head and Head of Finance to ensure the local indirect procurement organisation is developed in the right direction
• Apply your extensive experience within indirect procurement to move indirect procurement to the next level.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters in Economics or Finance
• 8+ years of Procurement experience in a manufacturing, pharma, or CDMO setting; a combination of site-based and global experience will be preferred
• 4+ years experience leading and developing leaders (Managers/Supervisors)
• Experience working in a changing, project driven organization
• Strong business acumen with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Solid communication skills with the ability to communicate strategic direction setting
• Strategic mindset with ability to define and execute a functional strategy
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify procurement opportunities and convert the analysis to actions
• Excellent stakeholder management and communicaction skills

Scope and Influence:

• The Global Head of indirect Procurement will regularly interact with heads of site Finance and local procurement lead.
• The Global head of indirect procurement will be member of the management team in Global finance (Management team reporting to SVP of Global Finance)
• By optimising the indirect procurement efforts across all FDB sites, the Global head of indirect procurement has a direct impact of the FDB OI by ensuring that potential savings are identified and pursued.
• Indepedent contributor with no direct reports in the short term but 4-6 indirect reports.
