Job Purpose:

The post holder will provide strategic leadership and operational management support for the Executive Dean (ED) and the ED Office and leads on ensuring the administrative efficiency, effectiveness and operational excellence of the faculty. They will support the development, implementation, delivery, and monitoring of the Faculty Plan, and coordinates all cross ¿ faculty initiatives and activities. This includes the definition, development and oversight of effective systems, procedures, processes and policies that provide quality support for teaching, learning and research, providing a team vision for how exceptional quality support and service can be provided to students, academic staff, and other stakeholders, ensuring all practices are aligned to the wider University Strategic Plan.

The University will conduct a shortlisting exercise after the closing date.  Individuals successful at the shortlisting stage will be invited to undertake an EQi leadership questionnaire in advance of a formal interview in order for a leadership report to be provided to the panel which will be referenced by the panel during the interview.
