I am seeking a commercially sharp, brand elevating Director of Sales & Marketing to lead growth across MICE, luxury leisure, and high net worth segments for a boutique luxury hotel within a premier golf and wellness estate.

This is a hybrid role for a candidate who has built their career in luxury hotels or luxury health clubs with accommodation, thrives in owner led environments, and can attract higher value business while safeguarding the property’s exclusivity.

Your impact

* Own the 360A° commercial strategy for the hotel, setting clear targets for MICE, luxury leisure, consortia, UHNW/corporate, and wellness/golf packages.
* Grow MICE revenue by developing relationships with premium planners, luxury brands, and private family offices; design bespoke off site and estate wide event propositions.
* Strengthen luxury leisure performance via key consortia, top travel advisors, and high end OTAs; optimise pricing, packaging, and channel mix to protect ADR and length of stay.
* Partner with wellness, golf, and real estate teams to create integrated offers that drive occupancy, ancillary spend, and real estate interest/viewings.
* Lead brand positioning, PR, and digital storytelling to elevate desirability among affluent audiences in DACH and international source markets.

What you’ll do

* Build and lead a high performing sales function (direct and matrixed), setting pipeline goals, activity standards, and conversion metrics.
* Design and execute an annual sales & marketing plan with clear KPIs for MICE, leisure, corporate, and wellness; manage budgets and ROI.
* Develop key account plans for top producers (consortia, corporates, agencies, planners) and personally close strategic deals and RFPs.
* Collaborate with Revenue Management on forecasting, pricing strategy, and inventory control for peak seasons, events, and real estate campaigns.
* Oversee content, CRM, and digital performance (website, social, email, paid media) to generate qualified luxury demand and repeat visits.
* Represent the property at international trade shows, sales missions, and owner events; maintain a strong network in luxury travel, golf, and wellness circles.

Who you are

* 8-12+ years in luxury hospitality commercial leadership, ideally as DOS/DOSM or equivalent in a 5 star boutique hotel, resort, or luxury health club with accommodation.
* Proven success growing MICE and luxury leisure segments, with a visible track record of winning high value accounts and raising ADR/RevPAR.
* Experience in high end golf estates, wellness resorts, or real estate linked hospitality is strongly preferred; familiarity with expansion or pre opening projects is a plus.
* Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); additional languages are an asset.
* Owner mindset: commercially rigorous, data driven, and brand protective, with excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
* Hands on leader who can work hybrid (on site during key periods and on the road for sales missions), with willingness to travel as needed.
