Job Title: Director of Sales – Stylish New Opening Hotel in Rome!

Salary: A‚¬55,000 – A‚¬65,000 per year + bonus

Location: Rome, Italy

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to lead a sales team of 2 people at a stylish new opening hotel in Rome. If you’re passionate about hospitality, possess exceptional leadership skills, and have a proven track record in driving sales, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
* Lead and mentor the sales team to ensure exceptional performance and customer service.
* Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event planners.
* Collaborate with marketing and revenue management teams to identify opportunities for business growth and market expansion.
* This role focuses more on the sales of restaurant and event spaces of the hotel rather than rooms
* Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges in the market.
* Prepare and present sales reports , forecasts , and budgets to senior management.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
* Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of the Rome hospitality market and established industry
* Fluency in English and Italian ; additional languages are a plus.
