• You develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies and plans that meet the needs of the organization
• You conduct risk assessments and identify potential threats to the organization
• You define recovery objectives, timelines, as well as procedures in case of a disaster and test and evaluate the effectiveness of recovery plans
• You conduct regular training and awareness sessions to ensure employees are familiar with disaster recovery plans and procedures
• You work with IT teams and vendors to ensure that data backup and recovery systems are in place and functional
• You monitor and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost optimization
• You identify and communicate potential risks and issues related to disaster recovery to management and stakeholders

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Proven experience in disaster recovery planning and management
• Knowledge of data backup and recovery systems and technologies
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills as well as strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization
