Our mission is to contribute to help more people and business prosper.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGAs a Documentary Trade Middle Office Specialist, you will be part of the Documentary Trade middle office team based in Màlaga but supporting local middle office teams across European Branches. You will collaborate with other teams such as Front Office GTB, bankers, legal, compliance, back office and IG in different geographies.We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

• Management and control of documentary trade transactions (Guarantees and Letter of Credit) booked in European Branches: checking clients’ requests and collecting right authorizations (legal, risk, compliance…). Book transactions in MO system, review closing memo and file of all documentation. Control of Precedent conditions in our transactions.
• Monitoring and reporting of the customers risks position if required
• Monitoring and control all documentation and signatures to start operations and/or to disposal of the credit lines.
• Direct liaison with back office for the booking of the transactions, the fee management and various operational tasks.
• Support the accounting department providing any relevant information related to transaction booked in the branches.

EXPERIENCE

• Strong academic track record (preferably in business administration, finance, accounting and/or economics)
• First work experience gained (preferably in activities related to Corporate and Investment Banking) or a sound passion for financial concepts as well as strategic thinking.
• A previous experience in Documentary trade middle office will be considered a plus.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor´s degree required (preferably Master´s degree); strong academic track record (preferably in business administration, finance, accounting and / or economics).

PERSONAL SKILLS

• The successful person will need to be highly motivated, responsible, challenging, able to work as part of a team, highly problem solving, with a strong ability to adapt to a multicultural environment.
• Furthermore, the person will need to be able to manage middle office client’s expectations in challenging circumstances with a direct liaison with different bank’ departments.

LANGUAGES/OTHER SKILLS

• Highly proficient in spoken and written English
• Highly proficient in spoken and written German or French
• Spanish and Italian are considered a plus
• Microsoft Office Package, proficient level
