The Centre for Teaching and Learning supports the academic development of teaching and learning in line with agreed institutional priorities for education and in partnership with students and colleagues in academic divisions and professional services. The Educational Development Group within the Centre works closely and collaboratively with colleagues in academic departments/faculties and across the University (Education Policy Support, Libraries, IT Services, Disability Advisory Service etc.) to design and teach accredited programmes and to plan, support and evaluate educational development and enhancement initiatives.
About the Role
We are looking for an individual with consultancy skills who will work proactively with academic and professional services departments to support programme and assessment design; you will generate and support improvements to the staff and student educational experience that promote authentic and inclusive teaching and assessment practices.
Your role will also include contributing to the suite of accredited programmes for the professional development of staff with teaching and learning support roles across Oxford.
You will use your expertise to contribute to the Centre’s portfolio of services to divisions, to the programmes in teaching and learning, and to offer research-informed advice for the formation of educational policy and practice.

This role also offers the opportunity for hybrid working (3 days per week in-person in Oxford).
