If you would like to contribute to the successful outcome of children’s education and have qualities such as high levels of organisation, analytical and planning. A proven track record in meeting deadlines and producing high quality outcomes for young people with SEND.The EHCP Team is structured within the Children’s Services Directorate and is managed by the Head of Access & Sufficiency. The Council has a statutory duty to provide the functions of the SEND Code of practice in Manchester. This requires that requests for EHCP’s are processed inline with the send code of practice, EHCP’s are co-produced with young people, their families and other stake holders. All EHCP’s are reviewed inline with the ode of practice and statutory duties.This role is responsible for supporting the team to ensure that young people with SEND, have their needs assessed and where appropriate an EHCP is produced and maintained.The team adds value to the relationship between the Local Authority and all schools and academies across the City to support an integrated and accessible education offer.The EHCP co-ordinator is responsible for:
