At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.Job OverviewAs EHS Manager, you will lead, develop, and execute strategic and operational EHS programs, ensuring compliance with TE’s standards and all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. You will drive a culture of continuous improvement, risk reduction, and employee engagement, supporting both site-specific and global EHS initiatives.Your role:

• Deliver EHS trainings across all leadership levels to foster a mature, interdependent EHS culture.
• Conduct risk analyses, assess working conditions, and prepare detailed risk assessments.
• Investigate workplace incidents and implement preventative measures to reduce future risks.
• Perform internal audits to maintain ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 certifications and support external audits.
• Ensure compliance by integrating new laws and regulatory requirements into EHS processes.
• Advise on EHS aspects of new construction and refurbishment projects.
• Standardize and improve EHS processes in line with TE’s global standards.

What your background should look like:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related technical field – or equivalent qualification with extensive relevant experience.
• Certified occupational safety specialist (f/m/d
• Proven experience in a similar EHS leadership role, including managing direct reports.
• Strong knowledge in machine safety, hazardous materials, environmental and emergency management.
• Advantageous: experience in waste management, recycling/recovery technologies, fire safety certification, internal auditor for ISO 14001/ISO 45001
• Exceptional project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Team player with a structured, solution-focused approach.
• Fluent in English and Hungarian (written and verbal).
• Strong communication, influence, and auditing skills.
• Proficient in MS Office tools.
