EHS Supervisor – Water TreatmentGrundfos Water Treatment Italy is looking for a EHS Supervisor that will be officially appointed as Safety Representative (RSPP), in accordance with Italian legislation. The candidate will ensure compliance with all local, state environmental regulations and will identify EHS risks, opportunities, and threats then strategize plans to mitigate such factors to prevent workplace injuries, illnesses, and environmental issues.Your main responsibilities:

• Manage environmental permits and reporting obligations
• Define and drive HSE strategy and performance across health, safety, energy, and environment
• Implement EHS management system for Italy
• Promote and monitor EHS tools such as risk assessments, compliance reviews, inspections, employee safety dialogues, toolbox talks, to create and develop a safety culture in the organization
• Oversee incident reporting and investigations with corrective and preventive actions
• Implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with local, state regulatory requirements and Grundfos standards
• Provide guidance on emergency preparedness and response for all facilities
• Implement Group and divisional initiatives within the scope of responsibility
• Provide EHS support to Italian sales offices and enhance safety culture
• Lead and coach the EHS team and provide constructive feedback necessary for the team to perform their work effectively
• Encourage trust, inclusivity, and sustainable practices within the department
• Recruit and support team members
• Implement Grundfos’ policies and initiatives within their scope of responsibility

We imagine that you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality & EHS management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 6 years of experience in EHS and quality roles in a matrix and international
• The ability to lead and motivate a diverse team with different skills and profiles
• Proven skills in performance management, talent development, and conflict resolution
• A naturally inspiring leadership style that energizes teams
• A strong commitment to nurturing a collaborative and positive corporate culture
• Expertise in managing human, financial, and material resources of the organization in compliance with the budget and regulations and optimize them
• A talent for analyzing complex situations and developing innovative solutions to minimize risk
• Strategic foresight to anticipate challenges and opportunities ahead
• Experience conducting risk assessments and building annual departmental plans
• The agility to drive change and lead organizational transformation initiatives
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
• A collaborative spirit with a knack for cross-departmental and multicultural teamwork
• A persuasive and resilient approach to leadership in dynamic environments
• A personal embodiment of Grundfos values and a passion for sharing them with others
• Full professional proficiency in English
