This role offers significant long-term career development opportunities within a supportive and collaborative environment.As an Electrical Engineer at Arup, you will:

• Prepare the design and contract documentation and specifications.
• Design different systems including, but not limited, to electrical distribution, small power, lighting & emergency lighting, fire detection & alarm, ICT, security and vertical transportation.
• Ensure that all design and documentation are prepared to the highest standards.
• Compile projects reports, and conceptual design studies.
• Liaise with supply chain and contractors to co-ordinate the successful delivery of the MEP installations.

Does this role inspire you?We’re looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient individual with a passion for sustainable building design. These are the essential skills and qualifications for the position:· Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.· 2 or 3 years post-qualification experience in Building Services, most of which will be in design gained within a consultancy environment.· Revit.We also value:· Aiming for Chartered Engineer status.· Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.· Excellent communication and report writing.Why Arup?At Arup, we believe in rewarding our members for their contributions to our shared success.
